Medication reminders – friendly, clear, reliable.

KitsuMedi is the senior-friendly medication companion for Android. Instead of overwhelming lists, the "Today" tab shows exactly what is due right now – with large "Taken" and "Later" buttons, an adherence ring, and "Undo" for every action. With a swipe in the same card you can open a preview of the next seven days without losing the overview.

Reliable reminders cut through silent or Do-Not-Disturb mode – on Android via the alarm channel with DND bypass, on iOS as a Critical Alert (when the Critical Alert permission has been granted). Snooze and acknowledge work straight from the notification. On request a critical reminder lights up in full screen, and an optional maximum volume keeps it audible even when someone forgot to turn the volume up.

Privacy is foundation, not afterthought: local-first and private – by default your data stays on your device only, encrypted with SQLCipher, with no ads, no trackers and no account. If you want, you can enable an optional family & care sync: it is end-to-end encrypted, the key stays solely on your devices, and our server only ever sees encrypted packages – never your health data in clear text. An app lock with PIN, passphrase or biometrics protects sensitive content on top. Your emergency information can be transferred to the system emergency info (Apple Medical ID on iOS, Emergency Information on Android) with a single tap – it is then accessible from the device's lock screen. For your wallet, there is also an emergency card as a PDF with QR code.

Fair and transparent: try everything free for 30 days, then a simple subscription (€2.99 / month or €19.99 / year). Your data always stays stored locally – even if you pause.
